So I've come to notice that Fender is notorious internet wide for their often distasteful product demos. The playing is sometimes sloppy, the distortion is often too heavy to hear the instrument, and they just don't show much about the sound of the instrument itself. I was looking at the new mando strat, and that demo was a joke. The player was obviously a guitarist, and he was constantly choking out notes throughout the entire demo. And while it didn't sound terrible distorted, was that a worthwhile addition to the demo?

I think something is being done at Fender to better the videos. The pure vintage series videos were excellent, and the pawn shop videos are well produced. I would just like to see better, cleaner playing, and more clean tones. There are many amazing guitarists working at Fender, my personal favorite being Mr. Wronski, why not ask him to demo some of the new AV's he sets up at work every day?

Anyone else find the demos substandard?
