Some? That rhymes with BUBBLEGUM. Which is another way to express what some Pop Music evolved into for a while. A group called 1910 Fruitgum Company wasn't very shy about being a Bubblegum Pop group.

Yes that was a former career but 34 years of radio was enough. Time for something else then. I don't think anyone here wants me to go on a rant about what happened to radio when the corporations came because this isn't a radio site. I was fortunate I got to quit though when I was ready. Most people don't.

Iggy Pop, his last name being "POP" means that all his music could technically be called "Pop Music" but really it is "Iggy Pop Music" and that is a genre unto itself and couldn't be farther from Pop Music really, so it is sort of a tongue in cheek stage name I guess. I don't remember ever, ever, ever playing Iggy Pop. I might have back in the early 80's but I don't think so.
