Right-plays-right, jealous of lefties who play right because they have more dexterity in the busy fretting hand.

I'm a lefty, playing righty. When I started out.......left handed guitars were rare. But I also wanted to be able to pick up any guitar and be able to play it. Besides, the guitar players in my band are who started me on guitar, and I had to use theirs.........and they were righties....so.....I guess it was written in the stars that I should play righty.

I also play drums as a righty.......for the same reason. I wanted to be able to sit down on other's drums and be able to play. It actually came in handy one day. There was a big time "Battle of the Bands" in the San Francisco Bay Area, and my band had to audition for it. For the audition, they allowed the guitar players to bring their guitars, but everyone had to use THEIR amps and drum sets. Probably to save on time as one band auditioned, one after another. Anway.... They had a drum set for me that was all set up right handed. We passed the audition, and they supplied instruments (with exception of the guitars) at the main event....so I was again supplied a drum set, that was set up right handed.

I'm very left-handed. I play bass and some guitar right-handed, as well as hit a baseball with either, but mostly right. I golf right, but badly enough that I probably am a lefty golfer.

I always felt that I really was playing left handed, since I was fretting with the left.

I'm not great with a pick however. Maybe that's why.
