I think the Beatle's "Hey Jude" might be the one that tears me up.

Voodoo Child (slight return) has always gotten to me and for some reason that song just reached out and touched my soul,as did Bleeding Heart,Little Wing and Angel.

For years after John Lennon died I couldn't listen to "Happy Christmas-the war is over" without getting choked up and teary-eyed."In My Life" and "I'll Be Back" have that same effect on me to this day and I often can't sing them as I get too choked up to do so.

George Harrison's "Isn't It A Pity","I'll Have You Any Time" really stir my emotions and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" gets to me so much that the lead break I do ends up being the most soulful of all the leads that I have done-I can just throw my whole heart and soul into it.At a practice we had one day,the other guys remarked that the lead break I had done to "While my Guitar..." that day,was the best that I'd ever played.I was going through a messy breakup at the time and just let it all out. That's proof right there that emotion plays a huge part in conveying your feelings through your fingers.

I can't believe there hasn't been any mention of Pink Floyd!

Comfortably Numb, Coming Back to Life and Learning To Fly - Pink Floyd
Everywhere - Fleetwood Mac
Hey Jude - The Beatles
Machines, Victory Over The Sun, God & Satan - Biffy Clyro
Minor Thing, Torture Me, Dosed - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Just off the top of my head.

Ahem...

Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd; in fact, most post-Sid Pink Floyd, which seemed to be laced with agony over the loss of their friend.
