Hey guys, I'd really appreciate it if you could give my Walnut Strat a vote. I was first, but someone with a no-name thing from the 60's has overtaken me. The prize is a $50 GC gift card. It's not a huge prize, but it's more than I have now.

Here's the link: Genuine Fender Walnut Strat.

The deadline is the 19th. Thanks mucho!

I'm getting a message: "Sorry, this application is not for your country" :? Looks like Palm Beach County is really a world unto itself.

Other than drivers weaving in and out of lanes at 90 mph on I-95 in bumper to bumper traffic during rush hour, I didn't think so. But now??????? Uffff!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Everything on the guitar is stock-except the neck pickup which has been replaced by a duncan hotrail humbucker and a villex passive midbooster in the place of the original recessed jackplate.

The middle PU is a reverse wound stagger pole SD; the jackplate is actually a Stratoblaster; while I have the stock tremolo bridge safely stashed, I currently have one made out of parts from Killer Guitar Components.

So it's not entirely stock, but I'm not looking to sell it. I've willed it to my brother in case of my untimely demise. I'd sell nearly everything else before I'd ever sell this. I paid for it with money received from the California Victims of Violent Crime fund, so it has that added significance to me.

I'm down by 6 this AM, with 4 days left. Surely a limited edition Strat (or any Fender) can beat a 60's no-label department store bass!

Is that guitar as dusty and dirty as it looks to be in the picture..?

Maybe that's what's hurting your vote count... :|
