Sorry for thea late post, i slept in today.

Good morning friends...coffee is in the cup, Neil Young is on the player and it is snowy and cold out up here in Blaine....I'm am very tired of the winter already.

Looks like some breakfast with friends this morning, a bit of x country skiing this afternoon and then a Fondu party tonight. I hope to pull out the Strat at some point!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Beaubs

It's legal - and encouraged! :D

Nasty grey, wet weather, my bit of the planet today. Which somehow put me in the mood for hot chocolate instead of coffee. Now I'm trying to learn a new number - which will keep me busy scratching my head for the rest of the day and probably the whole weekend!

Have a good one, all - C

I actually got up early this morning....didn't mean to, but there I was awake and partly dressed before realizing the time. I made an espresso, picked up the Globe and Mail newspaper and decided to record some birds outside while doing the big crossword.
It's another cold, drizzly, thoroughly rotten day here in Toronto; I feel sorry for the birds, but on the bright side, they certainly were singing loudly and stamping their feet.
I'll spend the rest of the day editing the birdsong recordings, reading a book and perhaps an afternoon nap.....

Stayed up to watch the Mets play in a blizzard last night. That sentence is just wrong on so many levels. This afternoon is about getting out the spring gear and putting away the flannel (might have to re-think the second part  )stuff.
Tomorrow is learn a few new songs day, in keeping with the freshing up theme.

Cheers,
John.E

Good evening mates!! From here in the heart of the lovely Thousand Islands and the ABS home base of Alexandria Bay! This is our first weekend in our beautiful new home and the beginning of the countdown until retirement! We took a break today from unpacking and I am going to be playing my new house warming present form my amazing wife...a Classic 70s P Bass in Olympic white and maple neck! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I promise to take pics and post tomorrow!
Cheers,
ABS :D

It was a lovely day today in Fort McMurray. Sunny and warming. Spring runoff flowing. There was a short spell of cool air and a few flakes in the late morning but it warmed back up quickly. I was up WAY too early as this was a work day for me. My morning coffee was at 5 AM.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Made an early run to Port Everglades to meet a starship making the jump from the Cozumel system. Imperial storm troopers handling traffic there are nothing but a bunch of nerf herders. Uff! Soon to be out and about for provisions and power converters. [Can't stomach that blue beverage my wife subsists on.]
It's summer here...mid 80's and partly cloudy under the twin suns....

Another dreary day here in the Midwest, 43 degrees with a forecast of rain and thunderstorms to keep us all hopping. It will be a good day to hang out in the Music Room and get the sets ready for this week's three gigs - Monday, Tuesday and Friday - should be fun times.

Morning lizards. It's almost noon here in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. Looking at 70 Degrees + today with sunshine. It's a good day for the blues. :)
