Remember that old song by The Searchers? Good song, but this thread's not about that song. No needles and pins would describe my mental condition for the next week or so. I purchased a Clapton CS Strat in Daphne Blue from a private seller a few days ago, sight unseen. It was shipped today. "Wishing and hoping" would also be some apropo lyrics. Since this is the fifth guitar I've bought sight unseen, I guess I should be used to this wait between when it ships and I get it in hand. But it isn't any easier this time.

The second one I've seen for sale in a year. I missed the first one by a day so I jumped on this one.

I'll hold any comments about the deal I got until I have it in hand. But, I had given up looking for one and was planning on building something similar using a Warmoth body and neck. This one only cost me $300 over what the parts were going to cost me to do my own build. The photos I got look like a no issue guitar. So, I'm wishin and hopin.

Way jealous! Of course, I am way jealous of those who own the non-CS Clapton strat!
