Not a new video but I've only just seen this for the first time and thought it worthy of a share. I'm sure the pain of just not getting a riff has bitten all of us at some time or another, just maybe not this hard:

p.s. not work safe due to some potty mouth language... 8)

Just proves that some people are simply incapable of playing a musical instrument and should actively be encouraged to give up and leave it to others.

Many, many years ago I had the bad habit of exclaiming "$hit" under my breath when I made a mistake. After playing for several years and switching to classical guitar, I still did it on occasion. Then one of my friends from college asked me to play at his wedding. Foolishly, I agreed. I was to play a couple of Bach lute pieces while people were being seated and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" for the processional. On the big day, I took my place at the front of the church and began to play. It wasn't until the wedding was over that people came up and told me I had played everything beautifully. :D

Unfortunately, my friends divorced several years later. :(

The keyboard player in my old jazz quartet was always swearing when he messed up. Wasn't usually a problem, until he started doing the introductions, etc, so had a mic on him.

We all paused for his gentle piano intro at one rather posh gig, only to be greeted by a slightly fumbled version and then a rather amplified "Aaaargh! S#@t!!!" booming from the PA.

That's funny. I remember using one of those back in the 80's. Then everyone started talking about how they slowed you down because of fast twitch muscle and so on. I think that is people started saying "I practice playing guitar by playing guitar."

They actually DO WORK PERFECTLY!!!

....(if you're after a crampy too tight a grip playing style!) :(

We're not supposed to press the juice out of our guitar necks, the wood has certainly dried out enough BEFORE it was used for manufacturing a guitar neck!

These "thingy"s are certainly useless for training a guitarist's fingers.
(just saying)

Back to topic:

I know this angry guitar player from YouTube.
He's certainly one of the guys who should never play an instrument.

I've seen other videos of him smashing his guitars.

He should be hired when they need to tear down an old building!!
Just put a string on a 20 pound steelhammer and tell him to play it!
DONE!
