As i'm browsing through Fenders Parts and Accessories under Amplifier Parts I notice the lack of grill cloth material. Why no Grill Cloth? Please, please, please add this as a new item.
Thanks.

How about no mounting hardware for the Tele bridge pup cover. I would love to have a cover to rest my hand on. Why do I get the feeling someone wearing a tie had oversight of what gear heads want, need and will buy?

Hi guys,
Thanks for the comments.....and I don't see ANYONE wearing ties around here these days!
As always, just because we don't doesn't necessarily mean that we won't. I'll pass this thread aloing and make sure that you're getting heard, ok? Cuz it makes perfect sense to me.

Have a nice weekend!!
Cheers,
rob

@rob

Amp decals are also absent from the products section.

Also, I suggest you adding amp faceplates for brown, black and silverface amplification in addition to the amp logos.

Most of the stuff that seems to be "AWOL" is readily available from alternate sources.

I've never allowed the lack of some replacement part or accessory through "official channels" deter me -- if there's will then there is a way.

Because there is no "mounting hardware" for the vintage Tele bridge pickup cover. It is a friction fit on the vintage Tele bridge plate. It won't fit at all on a modern Tele bridge plate.

I think the reason things like amp faceplates and decals are not readily available from Fender is the same as why headstock decals are closely guarded: Anyone could slap a Fender amp faceplate on their clone amp and sell it as a genuine Fender to the uninitiated.

Not necessarily.

My question concerns honest musicians wanting to restore their battered old Fender amps with genuine Fender parts to make them looking like new and not counterfeiters trying to build and sell fake amp clones.

I think Fender sells replacement amp faceplates through certain authorized dealers.

Good question.

I'm not concerned as I don't own an L series Strat.

But I believe many guitarists and bassists want to restore their instruments to look and sound much better.

Darn good answer. :)

I see this thread has kept you busy. :D

Guess, I'll have to acquire the right Tele so I can have what I want. Something tells me that might not be so simple, or inexpensive.

Also missing is the amp cover for 65 Princeton Reverb part #0075947000.
I had to go to the Angela site to find this part number so I could order it from my Fender
dealer.
