It may only be a DIY fix Buxom, how bad is the crack and where on the guitar is it, a few close-up pics, thing I'd be asking myself is, what does the repair intail, and what's stopping me from doing it myself, the cost of a replacement switch and a small soldering iron would be a fraction of the techs bill I'm thinking, as for the stress crack is it just a glue and clamp job, like I said a few pics (maybe start a new thread) and some of the lumber luvvers will help you to at least make the right decision repairwise

I'm honestly on the fence about messing with the crack and switch. I just don't want to mess with something that could seriously mess up a rare guitar. If it were my Telecaster, no problem. There are way more than 250 out there. But with this guy, I'm insured.

Hopefully. I did the neck repair, though. Got super runny superglue that just sucked itself straight into the cracks, then clamped it up. It'l hopefully be alright.

Tuners hold every string really well, except for the little E. Upgrade to modern Grovers is eminent...
