Definetly pick which ever LPB you like, but I think one thing is missing here...the top coat on LPB can make a huge difference. If it is lacquer, that top coat will yellow over time if exposed to light, and will cause the color to change.

I agree the tele is the color of LPB I see in my head when I think of LPB...but I have seen at least four or five different colors of LPB on guitars from Fender...but again all due to the top coat.

Just food for thought especially if you plan to have it done for you, you'll need to tell them how you want it done. Good luck with it, LPB is sure a nice color, especially with a rosewood fret board...MMMMMM!

Thanks for your incite. The "greening," as I call it, of LPB is pretty common.
