Discussion Help with RECORDING using Fender equipment and SOFTWARE recording devices-
I know it's not supported but I have Sonar X1 recorder and downloaded the Fender ASIO universal and still can't adjust the sound input on the Sonar --- it's red-lining no matter what I do! Thanks

I'm not familiar with the hardware you're using but most problems with levels in home digital audio are caused by people plugging a line level signal into a mic input.

Which "Fender Equipment' are you trying to record with? And how?

Are we talking Mustang amp?

Thanks, I might ought to try the line input---i have been using the mic input! that just could be the problem
Sorry, forgot to mention using Fender Stratocaster and Mustang 1 amp - and by the way how do you adjust Mustang to get just a totally 'clean' sound?
I am trying to record on the Sonar X1 software by Cakewalk
