Just about anything by Judas Priest. I'm a big metal fan and just about all their music uses chords and simple fingerwork like "Breakin' the Law" or "Living After Midnight."

Not to mention the solos I've heard so far are very rather simple sounding. Now if I could only find some rhythm tracks to play along with so my mom wouldn't bark at me every time she gets on the subject of me playing guitar. :x

Mood usually dictates. Often, 'will not have the faintest idea what is going to come out of the instrument and amp until it's plugged in and tuned.

'Am a perfect example of using several models from the Cyber-Twin and a few different types of guitars in a 2-hour plop-on-the sofa and pick session.

Couple lounge pieces followed by something old pop going into a lite blues followed by a piece of surf-ish then a something Greek or Irish, then a bit of folk or practicing a part for church and then maybe a piece of folk-rock, something from a musical and maybe a Bach or Latin to wind it up...

...regretably(????) no musical single focus at all. Or ability to play any genre really well. It's for personal enjoyment, after all.

I tend to go for the songs that express what I feel. For example, I like to play the Beatles' "Helter Skelter" when I have a lot of energy, Like when I'm really happy or when I'm really mad. I like to attempt to play the Who's "Behind Blue Eyes" when I'm feeling down. But one of the main reasons I like to play it is because Pete Townshend is my role model. :D :D :D :D :D
If you haven't noticed I tend to go for the older songs 8) 8)

mostly rock but my mood does sort of decide, I mostly play Metallica or something like them.

A crensdo?

At Jordan College of Music, they called it a "crescendo."

Anything from EVH tapping, to SRV blues licks. I do mainly play blues and play a wide variety of genres to widen my musical abilities.

Rock, Blues, Reggae. The likes of Zeppelin, Hendrix, Alice In Chains, Doors. I'm very interested in becoming a more proficient rhythm player, and I especially love reggae rhythm/fills.
