Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I thought of this thread today, when the sales manager goofed up and rang my new Blacktop Strat up for $4000 instead of $400. I said, "Damn, Gibson really did buy Fender, huh?"

One thing certain......*somebody* needs to buy Gibson.

Someone with vision and rooted in the traditional aspects of building a set-neck guitar.

The quality of the Heritage instruments (made by ex-Gibson employees at the old Kalamazoo plant in Michigan) smokes most production guitars made in Nashville.

Arjay

I'll second that. My brother-in-law owns one and can't say enough about it.
