I know how you feel. One of my kind of friends thinks he can play. he's got a standered stratocaster, a Telecaster thinline, and an Epiphone Les Paul 100.

I know exactly what you mean, same with me but my kind of friend has like 5 crappy electrics, digital effects, and no amp.... :x
He has been playing for like 1 month too and he thinks he needs all this...

Ego first, talent later. He'll make one hell of a lead guitar player someday.

I know exactly how you feel. Last year somebody in my music class said he was a Grade 7 at guitar. So he brought his bass in. He didn't even know the string order. I still remember hi exact words. "The strings go A B C D". What a bloody fool.

And hey, I know I'm not the best bassist in the World, but at least try!

What's a Grade 7 guitar player anyway? We have grades?

Oh well not sure if they have them in The US but here in The UK if we get lessons we can take grades. Just like a test to see how good you are.
Debut being the lowest and Grade 8 being the highest, and best.
