Blertles, thanks for sharing that. I always wondered how they made cheetos, and now I know.

Nick,

You are KILLING me! I kinda feel like I pushed you to order that strat and I nearly had a heart-attack!

Candy apple red IS an available American Special color after all! So you had me goin!

When you do receive your 2TS American Special, it will be in a pretty tight Fender shipping box. It will be shipped inside of its gig bag which is wrapped in bubble wrap. Strings will be on but loose. Body, headstock and neck will be wrapped. Case candy, wrench and trem arm will be in sealed bags.

And you WILL LOVE it!!!

Couple of cool cats listed above. Great sense of humour on those folks. Restores my faith in humanity. But by all means, put me on your ignore list, I wouldn't want to offend you with any harmless jokes and ruin your day. Also don't bother responding to this if you end up reading it, I don't even want your input.

Anways Tiger J, don't worry, I've ordered a bunch of stuff online before and I know what's reputable and what isn't. Although I don't have much guitar purchasing experience, I can still put 2 and 2 together.

It successfully shipped and will probably get here today and tomorrow. Can't wait to post (real) pics of it! I'm looking forward to the tremolo cause I desperately need one to play Lenny properly by SRV. My tele just isn't cutting it. Excited to apply my blues effects pedal to the new pickups and see what kinds of sounds I can wrench out of it haha!

Cheers
Nick

I find some of the responses amusing, the guy was just having a bit of innocent fun and some people get so wound up about it you'd think that they were considering climbing to the top of the highest building for a leap and plummet.I didn't bother to respond to his initial post because I got the distinct smell of something fishy right from the start.

It's not like the guy printed something racist, obscene or insulting someone's religion etc., it was just a dumb practical joke of which some of the indignant responses are funnier than his little bit of mirth was.
