I have been enjoying the Telecaster that I picked up recently even more than I thought I would. The G.A.S. really paid off.
This is the first guitar that I have owned with a maple fretboard and I'm shocked at how much I like it.

Anyway, here's a short recording of some mellow jamming with it this morning. Comments always welcome, cheers guys.

Nice pickin' and a cool tone off that tele. You can do just about anything with a tele, even heavy rock!! 8) What'd you use to overdub the lead with?

Thanks for checkin it out Gorgon. I'm diggin the stock pickups on the Tele possibly even more than the noiseless singel coils on my strat. I recorded direct with a laptop running Ableton Live lite through a Line 6 UX1 USB interface.

Sounded awesome!
My Tele is my go to electric, I just love the tone you can get from them.

Nice little jazz number! Good music for a Sunday afternoon. And good playing as always, Klowenst. You have some nice chops, bro.

Yeah , you still don't disappoint with your playing. Tasty. Nice tone in the tele ! But IMO it's sounding like the recording is slightly clipping ? A bit too high levels ? Just curious...
Did I mention that the tele is addictive ?

I really liked it!!

It had such an awesome jazz sound to it so I got inspired to make a funky jazz track of my own right after.

However my guitar has no E string because I broke it last night while I was drunk :(

Just quickly recorded it with my field mic;

haha cheers

Right on bro! I'm leaning towards my Tele more often then my strat for sure, but I'm not sure just yet if that will wear off. I kinda don't think so. :P

Really appreciate the feedback spacewolf. I think getting an a new guitar can bring on new ideas, sounds like a good excuse for a few more.

Very kind bro, thanks! The meters looked clean but I do tend to push right to the limit on the levels , so I will try to back off that a bit. Mixing is a weak point, so I appreciate the advice for sure.

Cool cool tone and the playing was great, the chordal stuff and the lead work. Great work. 8)

Congrats on the new guitar. I also just picked up a new Tele myself. I am also enjoying it. I still think they are ugly, but they play and sound awesome.

BTW...Cool short clip. Love the tones.

Thanks rkreisher, I used to think Tele's were ugly too and I never wanted one until the G.A.S kicked in out of nowhere, for no apparant reason! Now I think she looks great, especially next to a Strat. ;) Time to update my profile pic!
