Good Morning Friends,

Winter just won't quit around here although temp.'s are starting to climb above freezing. Last year I would have been on the golf course. Hmmmm

I will be working a trade show today so no guitar time for me but maybe a bit of playing this evening - looking forward to a day off tomorrow. Ana Popovic next Friday, I'm looking forward to that.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and a great weekend.

Beaubs

Yes this global warming is killing us in the Carolinas also. Just brutal heat. About 34 degrees F and raining.

Good morning Beaubs.

Woke up to 74F humid degrees. Kind of a cloudy, cool and clammy start to the day. It's expected to hit the mid to upper 80s today. I just wish things would dry out here.

Good Morning Beaubs and all my Fender buddies!
Hope everyone is doing well! Things in the ABS household are going great! We are just packing up the house to move to our dream home( which by chance now has a 1,200 sq foot recording studio for me). So today we have decided to take a break from the packing and enjoy the day! For me it means playing my beloved Fender jazz bass whole Mrs ABS goes to a knitting class! Life is great!! I will post pics once we are moved in next wek! have a great weekend everyone!

Nice day here, bro' for sure.. From the looks of the pond behind the house, we're sorely in need of rain. Would not like to see the county's water restrictions put back in place.

Us Canadian folk have it bad too :) Last week we had a 10 degree celsius day, then two days later a -10 snow storm.

Not sure what that translates to in Fahrenheit, but it sucks either way.

But today seems nice, and my parents are coming up to my school, might even ask if I can get a new gee-tar, then pay'em back :)

Have a nice weekend folks

Nick

Good morning , guys - here it's afternoon . I've done some necessary shopping , and I am back home. The sun is shining from the blue sky , it's just below freezing-point ,-0.3 Celsius . Piles of snow around here, which mainly arrived last weekend . I live in the most southerly part of Norway which is supposed to be the hottest, regarding the climate :( This time last year my garden was flourishing
Plans for today , is changing strings on my baritone , oil the fretboard etc . Maybe a friend or two drops in , as we were talking about making some new songs. Yesterday I rejected their proposition , because I was too tired from last weeks happenings . Could not stand the thought of being ''sharp'' amongst noise and alcohol , which is a tendency in those situations.
Well , have a nice weekend , all :D

Well it's evening here, but I won't let that stop me

Weather wise- I see you are all in the cold or beginning to warm up. Well, lately we have had the worst dry spell in New Zealand for the last 30 years. Hasn't rained decently since before Christmas and the grounds here (we are renowned for green & lush) are parched and dry. The whole north island and parts of the South Island are declared drought zone.

The grass on the front lawn crackles underfoot and there are gaping cracks so big you could loose your phone down one of them. I mowed the grass the other day and there is soo much dust thrown up by the lawn mower. I've been worried about the state of the lawn as it looks like its going to die if we don't get some decent down our soon.

However, despite the dryness- it's been very warm here. There have been some days that have been perfect for the beach and I have had plenty of sun. It makes me wonder however, what will be in store for us in winter? How about this for global warming lol

Now about those sausage rolls... :D :D
