It would be nice to gather an easy accessible collection of funny instruments in one place. I was pretty impressed as I stumbled over this one, The C64-bass

I'm planning on turning a salad-bowl into a mandolin, if that counts.

For our skater friends, some re-purposed boards.

That counts - when we can see a pic or vid  (BTW , great idea!)

Some really nice instruments here , I could have liked to try out all of them - except those in the vid from SBLS . ( hmmm- his lyrics are so sweet and peaceful - hmm )

Well, I took a Fender red cedar body (limited 1988 FSR "Awesome Wood Nature's Art Series"), cut it into stripes and carved a Native American Flute out of it.
(middle one on the stand!)

I did the same with an Eric Clapton Signature "Blacky" Stratocaster with turquoise fretboard inlays.
(on bottom of the stand).

The most upper one is supposed to resemble a "Blacky" with maple fretboard. I used the latter for the air chamber underneath the fetish!

All flutes are equipped with hidden "Inca Special Hot Rodded BlueTooth" active singlecoils inside the bore, driven by a AAA lithium/cobalt battery. The guitar straps are made out of reindeer leather with real and original Kiowa chief feathers (don't ask me where I got those from  , but the retailer looked a lot like the guitarist in the "From Dusk 'til Dawn" video!)

The sound is transferred from the Inca SCs directly into your ears via bluetooth (cybernetic implants necessary!!).

Does that count, too??

Here's a picture of my personal "odd instruments" collection (only 3 so far but another three are inbound!!)

Smokin', that is some nice flutes ! You've proved your artistic abilities more than once , and I am really impressed :!:
Still I wonder why anyone would cut up a nice strat body (not to mention two! ), but I guess you were fascinated of the nice wood.... Anyway - the results are extraordinary !
