+1. I'd be impressed if I didn't know anything about guitar.

I started playing at 5 but was considerably bigger than other 5 y/o's my teacher also taught, he may have had some 3 and 4 y/o students as well. I suppose I should have asked what you found discouraging about that video?

Well... I'd like to be able to do that... and I am a Looong way away from accomplishing it.

I'll get there, but she does seem to make it look effortless...

cheers!

Thanks !

Just started my 1st lesson last Thursday... very productive ! Next one on Wednesday.

Teacher is a young guy... $@! Laude graduate from the Berklee School of Music in Boston - Guitar, Music Theory.

Has his own popular local Rock Band and does lots of Studio work. Only has time for 8 students. Plays Strat and Tele + accoustic.

I think I learned more in 30 min. with him than the last 2 mos. on my own, not to mention numerous 'Ah Ha' moments.

Really looking forward to working with him...

cheers!

Really...??? The Software censors out 'C...U...M Laude'... ??

Pretty astonishing, considering her age!
That goes for playing abilities as well as taste of music!

She's gonna be SOME shredder if she stays with it and plays for another 5 years.

At her age I was still listening to ABBA with my mom!

What I find most amazing is that at her tender age, she's understanding and using nuances such as vibrato and the whammy bar at the finish.

She wasn't perfect... fell behind a couple times and missed one phrase, but DAMN !!

cheers!
