I've been lucky, I still have my shoulder length hair. To me it's still assign that I'm a classic rock guitar player. And I am 60

I cut mine off about 9 years ago.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Not as long as it used to be, but longer than it should be. I let my hair and beard grow so I could get through the brutal winters we have here in L.A.
I already shaved the beard. A hair cut is in the near future. I'm 61 7/8's.

+1 I shave mine too, I'm 61 and bald. I think long hair and bald looks dumb. A bald guy with a ponytail is just sad. So I wear mine on the inside.

I got a buzzcut as soon as my hair started thinning, it's the only way to retain your dignity when male pattern baldness strikes.

Same here, i'm 50 and losing it badly on top so i get it shaved in mega close. It's the only way. I agree, bald patches mixed in with long and straggly looks bad!!!

Agree with GilgaFrank as well; when it starts all falling out shaved in is the way to go. No sense in trying to hide or disguise it, that just looks dumb.

How bout, bald head with a top knot, in 1800 samurai culture, that would
have been a sign of honor..
But I guess nowadays that would be frown upon. Hair was long in my teens
and mid 20s.

Grew my hair long when I was 17, and cut it short when I was 25.

Started growing it again last February, as I'm rapidly approaching 40 and figured it'll be my last chance to enjoy hair, so I'm determined to rock some decent headfuzz while I still have the opportunity.

Then I'll shave it.
