Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I stopped using pedals years ago but I used to like the Boss chorus and compressor pedals. I don't think I've ever owned an overdrive or distortion pedal.

Of all the myriad of pedals that I own my favourite is my original 1967 Vox Clyde McCoy Signature wah-the same model that Jimi Hendrix and SRV used.I had been looking for a suitable replacement pot for it literally for decades but couldn't find one.In the meantime my Missus gave me a new Vox V-846-HW wah for Christmas.I loved the sound and action of it because it was pretty well identical to the way the Clyde sounded with the original pot.I contacted Korg Canada and asked if they sold the pots separately and they told me to contact my dealer and have them call them and it would be no problem,it's on its way as I print this.Soon my old Clyde will be back to its original glory.

I have a Tech 21 NYC RotoChoir which is the best Leslie simulator that I've ever tried and that's my second place pedal.I intend to complete my "most wanted" 3 pedals by getting an original Roger Mayer Octavia.I have been in contact with Roger several times over the years asking for info about pedals as I'm a dyed in the wool Hendrix freak, his Octavias differ from al the others on the market because the others are merely copies of prototypes that were in the works but his pedals are true to the specs of the ones that Jimi finally settled on and used on the posthumously released Cry of Love and Rainbow Bridge.I can get one sent from England to Canada for less than $300 which I consided a small price to pay for an iconic piece of rock history.

Hmmm, that's like asking me who my favorite child is. I love them all for different reasons, my pedals that is.

I think i would have to say my fulltone ocd (v3). Only because its passed the test of time. It's the only pedal that has made it through all my flavor of the month pedals.

My MIJ SD-1 is the one pedal which I would never part with. I found an old 90's taiwanese one locally, A/B'd them and it wasn't even close. This bearing in mind that the pots taper very differently. People are surprised when they see it's a Boss pedal which I'm using. I only use it on amps which would be otherwise be too loud to crank on their own.

The last pedal in my collection I'd part with would be my now out-of-production Boss RV-3 Delay/Reverb pedal.

Along with my tuner and my EQ pedal, it's the one stompbox that never leaves my pedalboard.

since I started playing I've had a bit of a fascination with Big Muffs.... I've had russians and american versions, and can honestly say all hype aside the classic NYC sounds best to me. the russian gets points for being played by cliff burton, and for looking awesome, but the new yorker has a better tone to my ears. It's one pedal I've never been without in some form or another.
