Congratulations Fender!

In the 2008 June (page 48, 49 & 50) issue of "Bass Player" Magazine, Fender was awarded an "Editors Pick Award" for each of the American Standard Basses.

It is an outstanding article and review of these wonderful new instruments. Excellent 'Pros' and 'Bottom Line' quotes.

Cons.: NONE.

This means all the editors of this respected publication unanimously agreed to award each individual instrument:

Fender American Standard Jazz Bass,
Fender American Standard Jazz V Bass,
Fender American Standard Precision Bass, and the
Fender American Standard Precision V Bass.

They have a “Sound-room Policy” that states that how the magazine fairly and honestly evaluates the gear they review. A very good friend of mine won two “Editors Pick Awards” on two different occasions for the products he developed. He had never advertised in the respected magazine. This is reiterating the soundness of the “Sound-room Policy.”

I personally tried and am still longing for the Fender American Standard Precision V Bass.

Please take the a few minutes to read the entire review. It is loaded with insightful accolades in relation to the recent upgrades Fender has presented with the New American Standard Basses. Though, if you pressed for time, just read the last paragraph on page 50. That summarizes why Fender has set the standard and now has raised the bar.

I couldn’t agree with this publication more :!:

Yes,Congratulations Fender!
I saw that too. The article is a great read, and the pictures of all four basses on page 48 look fantastic. There is a video of his review up on BassPlayerTV.
