As I see it, there's two options:
  • Strings
  • Downpayment on a Custom Shop Telecaster
  •

$75 would probably be a pedal for me.
Or, a cable and Snark tuner.
Or, a couple of good song books.
Or, a new strap and strap locks.
Lots of possibilites.

Hi Frankie. First of all ...

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

You can't go wrong with strings, or other consumables for which you will inevitably be spending money on, but how about something you would not normally buy. Perhaps something from the Fender store?

Cheers!
BM

Last year I had a campaign of buying accesories. Mic stands, cables, flightcases, slides, picks, replacement power supplies, tubes, plug blocks, everything that was getting worn out got thrown out and replaced. Cost me at least as much as another guitar but it's well worth it to keep your rig and instruments in good working order.

How about a Cruztools GrooveTech guitar maintenance/repair tool kit? In these kits there is just about everything that a guitarist needs to do their own adjustments and repairs. There is even a handy little booklet of tech tips to help you through your own intonation and/or neck adjustments etc..About the only tool that isn't included is a pair of pliers but there is plenty of room in the pouch for a small pair of needle nose pliers. These kits only cost about $50 and are well worth it because the tools are very sturdy and well made. There is even enough room to put in a small tuner to aid in setting your intonation.

already have all the guitar tools, tuners, allen wrenches (metric and standard), feeler gauges, even needle nose pliers.

i buy strings every time I'm at a music store anyway... and the store the certificate's for is not Fender Authorized, they're the local Gibson guys, so they don't have bullets... I hate that.

Case for my Dobro... hmmmm... not a bad idea... the guitar was bought at the same store...

Happy Birthday!

Consider a pickup for 'that' sound you have in your head but can't quite dial in with a certain guitar/amp in spite of all those pedals.

Nice bluesharp?

Maybe a sweet little solid state practice amp or battery powered mini amp?

Pandora Mini effects processor?

How about a down payment on a nice mandolin? Mandolins are awesome and you can play all sorts of tunes on them from Bluegrass to Led Zeppelin.
