I live not too far from the factory, but have never been there. Do they have a display of their current model guitars and if so can you play them. I'm wondering because there's quite a few current models I might be interested in if I could play them. But they're about impossible to find in any shop. If they don't have this type of display, they should. Does anyone that's been there know?

I have never been there, but via links within this site, there is info on the Visitor Center which appears to indicate they have on display and you can try their various models..http://www.fender.com/visitor-center/

Time to get your self over to Corona instead of drinking them. Then you can report back to the benefit of all. It had been my intention to do so on my next visit to my father-in-law in Calabasas but since the last, 'Calabasas' is now living in my guest room in Boca Raton. Doubt I'm going to see that part of CA again.

I agree. I need to do it and give a first hand account. I have a history of not doing things that are right in my back yard. I'm not sure why that is, but I'll make an effort to visit the Fender Factory. I'll try calling the Visitors Center to see what they have available to play, and maybe that will get me motivated. Sounds like "a plan"! Cool.
