There really should be an option for 'other' on this type of poll. That said, I still picked Hendrix.

Well, there's one problem with this list, the best guitarist is not listed.

Stevie Ray Vaughan has my vote. He's the best, with Hendrix coming in second.

Atta boy CA. I knew the smart ones would come around eventually.

For that matter I nominate chris63 for King and High Ruler of the solar system.

In all seriousness, there are so many great guitarists both past and present that is impossible to pick out the best. WHy limit yourself to just chocolate or vanilla when there are so many more flavors.

chris63 is right and that is why he has my vote. (where do i vote for him) also i don't think polling for the best guitar player of all time is a fair vote to guitarists who lived before recorded music or who have not been recorded by a major label? oh and if I had another vote I would vote for Pantare. :D
