I also let go of a Dean Edge 4 fretless that I wish I could get back. It had a nice wine red finish that really enhanced the basswood grain. One of the EMG HZ pickups was dead..but I was on my way to getting a good set of passives for it. Great bass...

Black Fender Telecaster and Blues Junior amp,...music teacher at the time,...this was over ten years ago,...insisted I get rid of it and go right back to acoustic. Hell,he wouldn't even let me bring it to lessons to learn on,...I had to learn on his cheap pieces of crap Alvarez
acoustics. I traded the Tele and amp for a Martin DM acoustic,...which I'll admit was WAY better than the Alvarez guitars he had,...but I wanted that Tele back! Ran into money problems at the time and had to give up the Martin, too! Made me sick!

best of luck on the job search and getting another bassman.

Thank you for both the good vibes towards getting a job and the good vibes for getting another Bassman...I need the former to facilitate the latter.

i know how you feel i own a twin reverb from that era and i can tell you my back screams are you kidding me every time i have to lift it on to the truck.

I think the cabinets for the silverface amps were made with lead rather than wood!

Toronado, well put. If you were a first time poster I would have said something like "how old are you, 3?". If you've been a guitar player for any length of time the questions answer is "yes". 8)

My Regrets:

1971 Fender Mustang, sunburst, from the old Fullerton factory complete with the classic gray case and awful orange plush interior. It was my first Fender. Needed money for college.

An original Uni-Vox Super Fuzz in the classic reddish-orange case with royal blue treadle. Gave it away to the guy I sold my Mustang to. Gave it away! Try to buy one today. Really wish I still had it.

Early '70s Ovation Cat System amp. Sold for motorcycle money. Actually this sale was worth it. Never mind.
