We replicated this Merle Haggard Telecaster guitar strictly following the original parameters, such as maple top, neck through structure, etc. You can see the details in the picture. However, the default pickups we used is wilkinson pickups, because this brand of pickups is relatively cost-effective and inexpensive, compared to the pickups used on the original Fender custom Merle Haggard Telecaster guitar, it can save you much money, and its quality is still very stable and reliable! !

for those who don't like clicking a link without seeing the URL:

I don't know if it's legal, but you definitely did them a service by posting this here.

Probably not, but even if it is, that doesn't change the fact that you're massive douchebags for doing it.

My personal view is that Fender's legal department need to take a look at nearly every guitar on that website.

2 of the 3 email addresses on the "Contact Us" page are hotmail addresses. Seems legit.

As does Gibson. Even if the designs are legal (IIRC, they are in the public domain or something to that effect), they're using LOADS of TM'd names.

OP and all companies like him can screw. If you're so bad at something that you can't come up with your own damn ideas, maybe you should look into another career.

Hey guys...I don't think the OP has any connection with this company. It appears to me that he is a forum member just asking for opinions. Guess I could be wrong.

Simple question, simple answer:

Manufacturers have patents and trademarks for their products, those are protected by copyright laws!
Fender for example have their headstock- and bodyshapes protected, as well as several other guitar parts and systems AND OF COURSE their brand name!

Copying any of those without Fender's permission is copyright infringement and illegal!

Do a web search about copyright laws!
In fact, you're not allowed to use ANY property of somebody else without the permission of the owner of the rights, that includes even pictures copied in the internet and posted in a forum (unless you just link to it).

I just had somebody's butt kicked by my lawyer because he copied one of my videos and uploaded it on his own website as if it was his. He didn't even give me credits, he didn't ask for permission and he refused to take it off his site. He said: if it's online for everybody to see, then everybody can use it!

WRONG!!!!

It cost him 500 bucks and he was forced to remove it!

So, if you want to copy ANYTHING, THINK and CHECK before you do it!

There is a sort of "grey area" though: as long as you do it for personal use without giving it away and without earning money from it, manufacturers might let you get away with it!
Otherwise, many of the posted project strats with third party Fender Logo wouldn't be possible at all. As soon as you sell it, you have to remove the Logo!

All of these guitars are genuine. The site itself is probably fake. If you buy one, you are likely to:

a, receive a cheap Chinese knock-off that a squire bullet Strat will eat for breakfast.

Or

B, have a sinking feeling that you've been duped.

Fake .....Pirate..... Enterprise.....

Blertles points out the fact that all those pictures are of the actual instruments, but all of the trademarked logo's are conveniently obscured or out of focus ....Hmmm :?:
The language ( translation ) english grammar in the descriptions are off, not much but enough to hint that this is an Asian piracy outfit.......
Yes I did say " PIRACY " as none of the guitars offered are legit originals, the price is another dead giveaway. A Custom Shop Hendrix Montery for under $500.00

THis isn't legal, but for the Ibanez, Gibson, Fender manufacturers, shutting this down is difficult and expensive since it's all on a website, there are no links to a physical manufacturer's location.

I would seriously hope that no one who is a Fender Forum member would buy any of this junk..

I have seen this company before in the past, so it seems like the boiler room operation they just move to another location when the heat is on.....

What? I got nothing to do with that guitar.
