Anyhow, the guitars color would look great and I know from seeing other pics of other Jaguars that fit perfectly into the "Fender tweed gig bag" that has been discontinued , it's a shame I can't find that "gig bag", I would love to have it for this guitar , too bad fender stopped making them

I wish I knew where to get one , oh well, hopefully I find one somewhere

I have a '65 Jag and it's one of the last "L" series Jags-or Fenders for that matter. I paid $150 for it around 1976,I just love the short scale neck even though a lot of others can't stand it.The Jaguar has such a unique tone and sounds really great when played through an amp such as a Deluxe Reverb or Princeton Reverb. It sounds deadly through my old '69 Bassman with the '68 2-15 "driprail" cabinet. The old Bassman starts to break up at around 5 but at 6 it really starts to growl,it's great for single coil guitars.

I'm hoping to post some updated family pix of my guitars in the near future because I've added quite a bit of gear since I posted my last family pix.The pix are somewhere oin the Lounge archives under the heading Guitslinger's Babies but I haven't been able to access it,which is no surprise because I'm a complete Luddite when it comes to computers. I always carry pix of my babies with me and today when I was in my local music store a guy there had just bought a new 60s style Jag-it was beautiful-so the sales manager told him about my '65,I hauled out all my baby pix and the guys were blown away because of the eclectic mix of rare guitars I have built up.

Might have to hold you to that Derek, you have an Aladin's cave of interesting and wonderful range of guitars that we'd all love to see!!
