Today would've been the 70th birthday of George Harrison if he had lived. It is solely because of him and John Lennon that I decided to become a musician at the tender age of 9 and I was determined that nothing or nobody would stand in my way.If I lived a hundred lifetimes I'd never to repay them for inspiring me to pursue the one thing that has proved to be the most important part of my life.I'm sure that the Pearly Gates will be swinging all day long when George and all the other rck heroes who have left us get cookin'.Have a good one George-God Bless You!!!

Happy Birthday George, you will always be remembered as a great human being and one heck of a guitar player and artist.

+1

My first guitar hero - an interesting personality ! I am pretty sure his way of thinking (and to some degree playing) will have an influence on me the rest of my life. RIP

Happy Birthday to George. One of the most under rated, finest guitar players, and song writers of all time. Your songs on Abbey Road were incredible. And your part in co-writing, and rhythm guitar playing in Cream's, "Badge", monumental. RIP L'Angelo Misterioso.

Happy Birthday George

A great person and my favourite Beatle. The inspiration behind my playing, not to mention we have the same surname and come from the same city. Here is a great vid of John and George working on a song.....superb

Like asgeirman George Harrison not only inspired my playing but his outlook on life and his philosophies also had a profound effect and influence on me.The same goes for John Lennon too.Even though George was quiet, reserved and spiritual and John was rather vocal and outspoken he had the same "do onto others" credo and wishes for world peace that George had. They both played a great part in making me who I am today.
