Today while searching Fender Fullerton guitars I came across something I had never heard of - The Fender Mandocaster! Perhaps this is old news to most, but it had evaded my knowledge until now and I just had to share!

Yeah , I've noticed that. But isn't a mandolin supposed to have 8 strings ? I suppose the answaer is : This is no mandolin - it's a mando-strat :lol:

That is just lovely, Maulden7. Could you tell me the string tuning, please? I imagine it might be a bit of a learning curve to transition from guitar.

Standard mandolin tuning is in fifths so bass to treble goes GDAE with the low G the same as a guitar G string.
