i just got home from school and i plugged in my squier strat into my 4 month old fm 65 dsp. it turned on and i strummed a chord. when i cranked my volume on my strat to 10 and my amp still didnt play anything i adjusted my volume to 5 and it still didnt work. then i switched the channels from 1 to 2 and the light that indicates what channel i'm on (off for channel one, on for channel two) it didnt turn on. even when i unplugged it still didnt work. this happened once before and i fixed it some how. any suggestions?

P.s. i also unplugged the amp and plugged it back in.

When you turned the amp on did it power up ok... I don't know what that amp is like but if it has a lcd panel did it say anything.
1)Your power outlet could be the problem. Try plugging in elsewhere in the house.
2)If you have siblings who get angry at the guitar.... sabotage. Check your amp fuses.
3) Does the amp have a drum machine? Try it.
4) Try another amp to check the guitar and outlet.

1 and 3 are out of the question. my sisters hate my amp but they arent that intellegent to sabotage the amp. i'll play it through my mg10cd

Just one more thing... if your amp has a headphone plug maybe you left an adapter in it or maybe a friend plugged it for you w/o thinking it would do something. People sometimes fiddle with stuff. Have you lined in recently with it ... is there an adapter in that plug. Check every setting and adjustment. Most faults are real easy.

okay so today i plugged in my amp out of curiousity. it worked. i played for 20mins. then i was messing around with the built in delay and it kept on reapeting. i turned t off and its not woriking anymore. i think that there is some connection moving around it there but i'll take it somewhere to get it worked on. also, remember kids, ALWAYS SEND IN WARENTEE CARDS>

Maybe you can register it online. To bad you didn't get an extended warranty. I wouldn't really worry about the warranty card... I would try Fender anyways. You bought it and they can find out when you did. You should be more optimistic.
