The op-art pickguards that I ordered just last week from Greasy Groove for my Tele and 50th Ann. Strat came this morning.I was surprised with how sturdy the plastic felt and the quality of the patterns.Unlike all other pickguards that I've seen, these even have covers for the pups which contain the pattern pieces that were cut out for the pups-they are thin plastic film decals that match the pattern exactly.I'll definitely be doing more shopping in their website as they carry not only a huge pickguard inventory but just about every conceivable guitar part or accessory. You can find the website here : http://www.greasygroove.com/ Be prepared to spend a couple of hours ogling the pickguards alone.

I'll send before and after pix when I get them finished,so you can see the quality of the 'guards.

My buddy and fellow forum member Blinkers came over this evening and gave me a hand switching the pickguards, the results were incredible. The op-art designs are so good that when you look closely at them they actually look like they're pulsating. One is a warped system of spirals and the other is a warped checkerboard pattern. Both 'guards are done in black and white which the effect even more striking-I'll post pix within the next few days.

I have my original pickguards that were autographed by Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives, put away safely until I get my music room up and running and I can put them on the wall behind glass in a picture frame.

I bought a peacock one from greasygroove for my Strat a few years ago. It has held up very well and is definitely a conversation starter.
