Hi everyone. I'm new. I figured this was a good place for my first post. Even though I've been playing since I was 12, I'm relatively new to Fender guitars. -I got my first one (a used 2011 '72 Telecaster Deluxe RI) and my second (a 2012 Telecaster Standard MIM) last week. The Standard Tele is my first guitar with single coils. I've been playing it at home so far with my practice amp (a Vox AC4TV). It sounds really awesome with a Big Muff pedal. There are a couple photos of my Tele's below. I've got some other guitars too (Gibsons, a Reverend, and an Epiphone). I didn't put up any photos of those though. I play in a couple bands in Pittsburgh. I like guitars. I guess that's about it. Cheers.

'72 Tele Deluxe. It came with the chip in the headstock. It's not as bad as it looks.

Telecaster Standard. I picked this one because I like the little birds eyes in the wood. I changed the white pickguard to a black one.

Thanks man, I'm pretty stoked on them. Cincinnati is a cool city. I've been there a couple times. It's been a while though.

Thanks! The chip isn't too bad. The photo makes it look a lot worse. I sprayed it with polyurethane so it's protected now anyway. It gives it some character. Plus I got a pretty good deal on it as a result.

Welcome to the Forum Twiz, nice guitars, is that some strange grain pattern on the burst tele or just a reflection in the pic

Yea, there are little birds eyes in the grain that show through the burst. That and the nice neck are the reasons why I chose that guitar. I was torn between the burst and a white one. I'll try to get a better photo of it when the weather in Pittsburgh isn't raining or snowing. -Might be a while. :(

Western PA rules. If every human had the demeanor and just plain honest goodness of folks from Western PA, then the world would be a better place.

Additionally, Pittsburgh is a great city.
