No we didn't have a meal of beans and cabbage for supper,but the whole province is under an extreme wind warning.Around my area they are expecting gusts well over 120kmh-75MPH and one area of the west coast called appropraitely Wreckhouse is expecting gusts up to 180kmh-113MPH.Lesser winds in that area have swept 18 wheelers and other vehicles off the road like they were made of cardboard.What makes this area so windy is that it is a narrow pass between two mountains and the direction it lies in is exactly the same direction that the highest winds are so the wind is channeled through their like it's going through a funnel and consiquently picks up incredible speed.As long as the power doesn't go and I can play with my guitars and amps,I'll be OK.
