What pickups do you have in the SE Singlecut? They look like hum sized P-90s, but what brand/model?

Thanks, the strat is a partscaster, but the newest so it gets a lot of love.
The pickups are indeed humsized GFS Dream P90-s, and they sound great in my Egnater and Fender amps but they're horrible with the Line6. Wonder if anyone had this problem too? Go tubes!!!

I've yet to be impressed with a tone from a Line 6 product... best I'll give them is a "well, I guess that'll work." I actually prefer the sounds I get from a Behringer V-Amp, believe it or not...

The GFS pups are pretty decent for the price. I had their "VEH" bridge pickup in an Agile LP copy, and it was pretty awesome for a $30 pickup.

Absolutely agree, love them in the PRS, warm, vintagey tone on clean and has quite a bite when distorted.
Never tried the Behringer, but you made me curious. I've let go of the line6, so there is room :)
Your PRS looks beautiful by the way, they're a contender for my next guitar, that's for sure :D

Thanks! They make wonderful guitars, arguably the best on the market. A bit pricey for a new one, but if you look in the 4 or 5 year old used market, you can generally score a pretty decent deal. I got this one and the singlecut I had before it both used for just over half the cost of buying a new one... Plus, most PRS owners take pretty good care of them, so you're generally not as likely to get stuck with a beat up guitar when buying used online. Keep an eye out at Guitar Center, they tend to be more than fair on thier used PRS guitars when they have them. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you add a PRS to youtr stable. :)

Interesting that you mention it, because I got both my les paul and tele from there in spotless shape and at a really good price. So youngsters keep checking GC :)

I thought, "No way!", but I did venture in to take a peek, anyways!

It's my wife's guitar. Valencia, bought about 28 years ago. It's the token right hand guitar in my cave.

Since I had a recent aquisition, I decided a new family portrait was needed. What better way than to gather around the couch.

They, and the cats, aren't allowed on the furniture, they were really upset about this thread, so I got them a pizza.
