Just out of curiosity shall we assume then, that you subscribe to the magic bullet theory?

The very fact that you refer to it as the 'Magic Bullet Theory' shows that you have been duped by the Media into wanting to believe it.

In the Warren Commission Report, it - CE 399 (CE=Commission Exhibit) is proferred as the 'Single Bullet Theory'. It was the Media which sensationalized it with the term 'Magic Bullet'.

Actually, there is nothing 'Magic' about the Magic Bullet at all. At least two forensic experiments have successfully demonstrated how this 2nd of 3 shots was able to do what the Warren Commission said it did. And, in 1978, the House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations also adopted the theory of the single bullet.

Anyone who wants to posit that CE 399 was faked and planted by conspirators needs to supply plausible answers to all of the following questions:

Why did the conspirators plant it in a location where it could easily have been overlooked or lost?

Why did the conspirators plant a bullet that was only "slightly" damaged if its role was to have passed through at least the President? Why not shoot up some livestock and get a bullet a bit more mangled?

Why did the conspirators plant it before it could have been known how many other bullets would be recovered? How could they have known that CE 399 would not be the "one bullet too many" that would blow the whole plot?

Why did the conspirators plant the bullet so it was found before it was known how much lead was in JFK's neck/upper back? What if a big chunk of lead was found in JFK's neck or upper back, a chunk too big to have come from CE 399?

Finally, if that bullet hit Kennedy in the throat and didn't go on to hit Connelly as described, then not being found in Kennedy's throat, it would have continued it's downward trajectory (Oswald fired from the 6th Fl. of the Book Depository) and lodged in the Presidential Limousine (likely causing damage to the car). But, no bullet, or evidence of bullet damage was found in the car.

Critical questions such as these are always conveniently overlooked or discounted by the Conspiracy Theorists. But these questions MUST be successfully answered for a conspiracy theory to have any credibility.

cheers!

I love coming here. I learn something every time. This time I learned I'm duped. Thanks for the heads up.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Really... ??

I reply to your direct question... and rather than trying to come up with a counter argument supporting your view, you respond with a glib remark..??

Typical of Conspiracy Theorists who totally discount even common sense rather than admit that their cockamamy theory is baseless.

If you actually believe that the single bullet theory isn't the correct interpretation of the evidence, then yes... you've been duped. There is no other word for it.

Rejection of the single bullet theory is predicated on several contentions. First the conspracy theorists state that the bullet would have had to make a right turn when exiting Kennedy's neck in order to strike Connelly in the back as he was seated directly in front of Kennedy.

In fact, neither of these things is true. The bullet did not make a right turn and Connelly was not seated directly ahead of Kennedy, but to the side and at a lower level. Measurements of the limousine and Connelly's dimensions confirm this.

When the actual alignment is accounted for, the bullet had to act as it did.

You can either be willing to accept this, or continue believing something which isn't true. Since you didn't discern these facts yourself, you cannot be deluded. But since you have chosen to believe a falsehood someone else conveyed to you, you have been duped.

If you'd like to stop going through life being misinformed on the subject, I would suggest you peruse this link - http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/sbt.htm .

If you do want to go through life believing and parroting incorrect information... well I just don't know what to say to that...

Wit is no substitute for intelligence...

cheers!
