Is that a 2012 Les Paul Standard?

EDIT: Just noticed the "Traditional" on the truss rod cover. We almost have the same guitar! :) Yours looks exactly like mine, but mine is a Standard.

The Traditional is a Standard without the current (new) LP Standard wiring ex: the coil cutting - push pull pot options.

it's more errr.. "Traditional.." ya dig?

my brother in law has a 2012 Traditional Pro -- Quite nice!

The Traditional has some other differences.....different pickups, 50's rounded neck profile, non-chambered body, different tuners, etc.

It's a beauty.

I love the 61 Ri SG , looks SEKZ in front of those vintage amps.
Is that a real deal 59 bassman.
TGS- your Gibson Les Paul gave me horrible GAS when you posted pics
after the blues competition.
The 2012 Les Paul has some interesting functions, and appointments.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but how's the standard working out
for you?

TBAZZ...That is one sweet 61 SG Reissue! I love mine...and hint hint, they sound great through a 4x10 speaker amp!

One thing to watch for with em though...the small posts that go into the mahogany on the bridge can come loose a bit...not a huge problem with these, but it does happen to em from time to time.

You gave me some GAS for mine, may have to go play it some tonight!

Enjoy it.

T2

I never was crazy about the devils horns, but so many people have been getting these lately, there must be a reason. Let us know how you like the neck and pups etc. I wouldn't mind hearing what the specs are. Congrats!

I have always loved these they have the 57 classic pu and the 60s slim neck. They are just fantastic to play. I've owned standard sg,s that have sounded muddy and fat necks which I don't like. And it's the lightest guitar I own
