Good morning friends,

I hope all you Easterners are hunkered down and are safe and warm. I am sitting in my kitchen having a hot cup of coffee and listening to Steely Dan Aja. Looking forward to a great weekend filled with music, friends, and family. We are to have our own bad weather here starting tonight so I will be preparing for that also. I might be selling the G & L - ASAT, I just have not bonded with it. Maybe a new Telecaster in the future???? 8)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Beaubs

Morning all. Been awhile since I have been around. Just ordered me a new acoustic. :P

Sorry, it's not a Fender though.

Mornin' dudes and dudettes. :D

We're looking foward to a light fall of snow later in the weekend where I am - and glancing at the situation in the NE of US and feeling glad we're not there right now. Sit tight, 53magnatone,and have your shovel ready!

It's in fact PM now where I am and the coffee's drunk. Also, it happens to be my dad's 75th birthday today, so we're taking him out later for a shindig designed to suit his tastes. So that's nice.

Have a goodun, y'all.

Cheers - C

Mornin' all, Here in NYC Metro area the storm was moderate, 12" of snow and a few hours of high wind. We dodged a bullet for sure.
Just finished the first cup of coffee, with luck the paint project here will be finished (no pun intended) by Tuesday, hit a few snags including not being able to open the windows for a few days. Now I understand the concept behind "Spring" cleaning.
Ah well, can't get to the guitars for all the stuff piled in the room (making room for painting the other room), guess I'll check the DVR.
Stay warm, play 'em if you got 'em.

PS Happy Birthday "PaPa" Ceri ! Let your son do the driving tonight, you do the drinking  J.E.

Good morning all - stil snowing & blowing with tidal waves in the 20 ft range - about 6 hours left to go - still a ban on public driving and limited to emergency vehicles only. No planes, trains, buses or automobiles :

Mornin' all. Just lit the coal stove to keep Mrs b warm and toasty. One more cup of coffee then outside to clear a little snow. We really dodged the bullet yesterday and last night, just an inch of snow. Hope all is well for our members in New England states, stay safe and warm. Just hunker in the bunker and play yer guitar :D .

Good morning everyone, I'm guzzling my second cup of coffee. We only got about a foot of snow from the blizzard, not too bad at all. Looks like a good day to stay inside and play guitar.

Aja, mmmmm. Good idea. Think I'll join you. I have every album the mighty Dan every made and Aja is by far the best. The quintessential Dan.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Good day All,
My family up north is struggling with three feet of snow and 7 ft drifts. Here in SoFla, Land of the Snowbirds, it is 77°F, though the bright sun is giving way to clouds. Nary a snowflake to be seen.

Boy, you guys in the east have really got some snow happening! I don't have any where I live but 20 minutes away I have a choice of 3 mountains. I went snowshoing last nite in the dark! Never done that before. It was gorgeous! Fresh beautiful snow! The stars and the lights of the city! (With others of course and we had headlamps and all safety gear!)

20 minutes after a gruelling 1 1/2 hour hike, home in front of the fire!

Ahhhh!

Gridlok :)
