My favourite obscure use of a wah would have to be "1969"by Iggy and The Stooges. The wah in that song has a real growl to it and really gets the freak on at the last part of the song.

Wouldnt necessarily say obscure, but love the wah in this none the less. And have never heard this song on the radio besides my campus radio show.

the middle part...the seagull sounds are done with a wah...this is for me a very obscure use, and shows just what a little imagination can do.

That's my choice as well - can't get more obscure use of a wah than plugging it in backwards and using it as an instrument itself. :lol:
