Some lotteries 5 out of 6 would have gotten you enough to enroll. Heck, 3 out of 6 gets you to break even.

5 out of 6 was only worth 4 grand (sounds good said like that) after taxes and that was 5 months ago. I still think about the big one that got away.

It is pricey and your average axe slinger probably can't afford it. Maybe once a year Fender can have a contest for those who can't afford a half years rent for some quality Fender time? Ya know...a trip for two? All the winner has to do is come up with airfare? Maybe an essay contest? "Why I love Fender and would love a Fender U trip"?

I'm thinking that would generate some goodwill.

That price of admission will certainly keep out the riff-raff.

A good idea.

I never thought about that. Yeah, it'll cut down on the Beavis and Butthead's showing up.

It's all supply and demand, man. With only 35 slots available, the supply is very, very low. Hence, the high price.

It does include a guitar and airfare, I believe.
