Not cool.....
I remember when I first started playing guitar, boy it wasn't pretty. But with practice and patience my skills matured.
I just hope one day I can be as great as some of you guys....

You do realize the OP has been on here since 2007 and been posting/trying to sell songs for a few years, right?

Eddy, no offense but to my untrained ear this doesn't sound too good... have you taken lessons? If not, start today. If you can't afford them, there are a lot of places online these days where you can learn how to play the guitar for free. There are a number of sites that have really well structured lessons. They are easy to follow and if you invest the time to learn the right way I'm sure your playing will improve a lot in a relative short time.

No, i did not know that. However, the constructive criticism you offered might probably be more beneficial than some of the pics posted.....as funny as they were.

You know, I have to give props to anyone who put themselves out there on youtube. I don't want to sound like a backseat guitar player, but I'm not sure if the OP is serious. There's no structure, no key, no rhythm, and worst of all... no music on that video. Just random sounds. Is he truly trying to sell his music? I still suck at guitar and there's no way I would try to sell my music with my current set of skills. No way!

OP, I think you could really benefit from lessons. You need to know basic things like chord progressions, music theory, like being able to choose a key and play on that key.

Geez .... What's a bit of prickly humor amongst friends ... We should remember the words of a great wise man...

Eddy Tan plays electric guitar and drums. He dislike using effect pedals/ built in effect for electric guitar. All his guitar sound comes from guitar technique. He plays drum in a unique and rare style, he is the first & only drummer to play drums in classical with drums as the solo instrument. All of his innovative drumming technique are self created by himself, making his drum sound highly original.
