A fellow collector/dealer/musician friend of mine is a very good friend of Scotty's and once while visiting Scotty in Nashville he mentioned how much he loved Scotty's one off Gibson-not the ES 295-and Scotty asked him if he would like one made for him.Lew immediately said yes and then and there Scotty picked up the phone and called Gibson's Custom shop-or whatever it was called back then in the mid 70s-and asked them if they could make a lefty mirror image of his guitar.A couple of months later Lew got his one-off lefty Gibson and at a very very fair price.Needless to say that guitar is his pride and joy and never leaves his house.
