Awhile ago I bought a Martin Backpacker off Craigslist so I'd have something to take with me on vacation.

It was OK and gave me something to play but was kind of weird to hold, but it definitely drew some attention when people saw it.

So then I decided to save up for an American Standard Strat and a guy at work was interested in buying it, so I said sure, why not, and that got me that much closer to buying my new Strat.

Then I was on vacation over Christmas break without a guitar (!) and decided to go into a music store to check out Parlor guitars because they're smaller than regular acoustics so they'd be easy to take on vacation... The Fender CP-100 caught my eye. Nothing too fancy, in fact it looked a little low rent, like something Robert Johnson would have played, which was OK by me...

So that was on my list. Then the 2013 line came out and I saw the Ron Emory "Loyalty" Parlor guitars and heck, I think I need one of these. http://www.fender.com/acoustics/parlor/ ... ty-parlor/

Probably going for the Ash Butterscotch.

Though the Vintage Sunburst looks pretty sweet as well...

love the look of the butterscotch. I want a review when you can and know it well. I think I need to get one, as my family name is Emory, tho I don't know Ron (drat! maybe could bum one off of him!)
