YES!!!! The youth are upping the skill levels on their instruments. Could this mean the age of mediocrity will come to a close? We can only hope.

Keep up the good work young squier. :D 8)

First concert I ever went to without my parents was The Outlaws. 38 special and Molly Hatchet opened. It was at the Music Hall in Houston Texas circa 1977. One of the best shows I've ever seen. If you like Molly Hatchet definitely check out the Outlaws live CD "Bring It Back Alive" or really just about any of their albums.

Dude! I saw that same tour! It was awesome! One of the best concerts I ever saw!

I was so amped after that show! If those 3 bands playing one after the other didn't get your blood pumping nothing would.

Dammit! Now I'm going to have to go dig out my old Outlaws vinyl. lol.

Ahaha! Yea the Ghost Riders Live was incredible! All three bands kicked $@!! It was cool to see three mainstream bands in the same concert that wasn't a festival! Alas, but those days are long gone I am afraid.

Ahhh. What a great song! And if anyone thinks that it is easy to play all the way through - try it some time. Of course, it helps if you have two guitarists.

Wow... Molly Hatchet? Now that's a band I have not heard in a long time, back in the 80's.

Somehow I missed the beginning of this thread. Molly Hatchet was a Great band! I played in a Southern rock cover band in the late 70's, early 80's and we played a bunch of Hatchet songs. At a local concert I even met Dave Hlubek(their main guitar player). He was a real nice guy, and a Wild Man on stage! A couple of you guy's mentioned The Outlaw's, it was too bad that Hughie Thomasson died last October. ( He had a heart attack while watching a football game.)
