Do Xmas gifts count? If so, this is my last piece.

And just prior to that, I picked this up for $55. Buyer said " it doesn't work", so after a new 6V6 and reseating all connections, it's been my in house practice amp with no trouble.

Still haven't tried my other latest purchase from the same day as this Ampeg, a Fender Runway pedal. Been concentrating on bass mostly since I joined this new band.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

My most recent music related purchase was 4 sets of Rev Willy's .007-.038 strings but before that it was a Vox AC-15-C1 that I bought in early Dec. Then there's the Vox 846 Hand wired wah that the Missus gave me for Christmas.

Morley wah. I practically stole it. $20.00 at a pawn shop. Apparently no one knew that optical wahs are adjustable. It sounded awful at the pawnshop and they had it for over a year and were just trying to get rid of it. The guy at the pawn shop let me plug it in and play and was shocked that I bought it. It sounded really trebly and whiny. I was just making sure it worked. Brought it home, adjusted it, and it sounds wonderful. :D

Wow those Bantams are scarce amps and super-rare with the original Yamaha trapezoid white Styrofoam speaker. In fact possibly non-existent with the original speaker in working shape. When new they were very good sounding at showroom level but the freaky trapezoid Styrofoam speakers were not very durable and most wound up with a replacement baffle inserted for 1x15 round speaker or 2x10's as replacements became harder and more expensive to obtain until they became impossible to find.

That amp was a real find!

Bought a Mustang II a month or so back and love it. Barely scratched the surface Fuse-wise so it'll just get better as I learn more. Killer amp for $200 US.
