Such as UCLA or Juliard?

I'm really thinking about going to UCLA:

1. I need to escape these cold NJ winters for some bright Cali sun

2. Jim Morrison went there

Thanks

Well, it looks like I'm first to make the most obvious joke here...
"Yeah, I went to the school of Hard Knocks."
...come on, you know one of you was goin' to go for it, eventually!

No wonder your recordings sound soooo great! Along with your playing the recording and mixing quality stood out to me from the first time I checked out your channel. 8)

I'd really like to go to UNT, but I'm the master at college enrollment procrastination. Two years and counting... So talk to me again in four and a half (who knows, maybe five) years.

Yep, lots of eye candy in that group, and the instruments don't look bad either.

I wish I had done that. Very badly.

My dad groomed me to be a baseball player. Alas, I didn't make the big leagues, so now I'm stuck being a beginner musician (something a person can enjoy through old age) in my late 30s.

I wish I had been pushed toward music as a kid. Not even necessarily guitar. It would be great to be able to play piano, for example. I mean really play, like people who started at age 5.

You are being soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo smart. This idea that kids have to go straight to college at age 18 is fastly becoming dated.

I wish I had done what you seem to be doing.

Plenty of time for college. Now, if you're going to get into a prestigious music school and study something you love....I'd say go ahead and do it ASAP only because it will be fun for you.

Wrong forum for this discussion, but due to grade inflation and "degree factories" far too many kids today go to college who should not even be there at all (not saying you're one of them).
