Also, I have a soundtrack LP (vinyl) from a movie I've never seen before. The movie was "Mahoney's Last Stand" and the soundtrack was by Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane, with some help by Pete Townsend and several other 70's heavy-hitters.

Some of it sounds VERY (1970's) dated (you can almost hear the bell bottoms and pet rocks in the background) but there's a handful of killer tunes and riffs that make me like it...I recently bought a USB-connectable turntable and converted it to CD just for the Hades of it, and it was a cool diversion.

I have no idea what the movie's about, though. :?

No one mentioned Super Fly (the title track plus, Freddie's Dead, Pusher Man....ahhh, the great Curtis Mayfield!)

...and Diner,
The Last Waltz,
Hail, Hail Rock 'N' Roll
just to name a few!

Both movies (and their companion soundtrack CD's) feature some outstanding tuneage.

If you're into old-timey music (or even if you're not), you can't go wrong with this one...

Tarantino already got a mention, but Kill Bill I and II have awesome soundtracks. Pulp Fiction is no slouch while I'm at it.

Can't go wrong with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly either.

Buxom,

Knowing you have an ear for fine punk rock. This soundtrack is a must if you don't have it already. The movie's pretty good to...

A classic, and Jimmy Cliff had a starring role too.
