I don't think anyone was lip syncing...
The 3 soloists were soooo very clean. Great videography too. The camera-person seemed to know that it takes two hands to play guitar, bass and piano, and with each solo you could see everything the musicians were doing.

Planning on doing that song (along with a few others) with my 15 year old son at a senior luncheon this Saturday.

He was cool long before "cool" was popular.

Realize that Nat began simply as a Piano player.

At a gig one night, the lead singer failed to show and the Club Owner said w/o a singer, no one was getting paid.

So Nat sang the vocals and the rest is History !!

cheers!

Route 66 was performed together with How Sweet It Is and Love & Happiness during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame all-star jam held at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel of NYC in March 6, 2000.
