Here´s my second entry on soundcloud, another tune I wrote for my kids.
Very kind of Sofia Maqueo to join me on vocals.

On the choruses, you can hear my mexican folk guitar native to the
state of Veracruz, called a requinto Jarocho.
This tiny guitar carries four strings and it´s used
exclusively to rip away with mostly down strokes to play fast solos
mainly based on arpeggios.
Soon after recording this, my above mentioned
instrument got wet in the rain, standing on the veranda.
It came apart... This is the only track I have playing the thing.

Here´s my third entry on soundcloud, again music I wrote for my children.
I went for the old train thang with a harmonika and a bit of slide.
My best friend volunteered to sing, and sadly he is no longer with us.

Vamos a la escuela! How do I say I'm too cool for school in Spanish?

Anyway, I've been noodling around in Cubase again so here's my tribute to Neil Armstrong on the anniversary of the Moon landing, very rough at the moment but it's getting late here and I only had time for one take of the guitars and no mixing. I just drowned it in delay to hide the mistakes a bit ...

This is a test, this is only a test. I opened up a Soundcloud account but either my computer or browser doesn't like it because half the time I click on a file it doesn't do anything at all.
Anyway, here is a track I did this past week. It was a basic backing track provided by Michamusic and posted on MLP.com for anyone to solo over. I added an intro, which wasn't easy since I had no timing cues to work with, the original track started where you hear the cow bell count in. I also added a bunch of layered rhythm and lead guitar parts. My Tele, Stat and Clapton strat all make guest appearances.
I hope it plays for you:

If not, here is the sounclick file.

Hey, I'm Ronnie - first time poster, long time Fender user!

Here's a new song from my band, Wednesday In May called "Good God, Lemon!" - We have are very influenced by early 90's alternative and punk rock. IE - Green Day, Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr, Jawbreaker... etc.

I used my Squier Jagmaster that I upgraded with a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge, and a GFS Mean 90 in the neck, along with my Excelsior amp. Rock!

Anywho - here's the track!

Thanks! I will be going back and re-recording guitars for the symphonic metal tracks with my ux2. There's a female symphonic metal page on Facebook if you use that.

Here's another basic track I added guitars to this past week. I added a bit of a Greenday style of intro, you'll hear the basic track count in at the end of the intro.
The intro and thunder guitars are my Tele Thinline w/P90's.
The early solo is my Carvin CS4 w/Bonamassa pups
The later solos I alternated between my Carvin and Clapton Strat.
I was going for a David Gilmour vibe, I don't have his talent but I gave it my best shot.
